Longtime member Helga, who passed away earlier this year, spent years collecting decorative plates on her many trips to Germany. Each one carries a piece of a town, a castle, or a coat of arms — small windows into the country she loved.
Thanks to the creative talents of member Tom Kemmett, with a hand from Mark Daniels, Helga's collection now has a permanent home on a handsome new shelf at the club. The plates sit together above the hall, a lasting tribute to a member who helped keep our German heritage alive.
